This magnificent new restoration of Metropolis utilizes 25 minutes of lost footage, not seen since the film’s premiere in 1928. The amazing sci-fi film was Alloy’s first silent movie score, originally composed in 1991, making Alloy Orchestra world famous. Alloy’s expanded score, with its signature junk percussion and soaring melodies, captures the classic film’s power and beauty.
